Ostrea edulis, the queen of all oysters is found only in the bay of Mali Ston in Pelješac. HERITAGE & history
So little time, so much history...
Many of the cultural and historical monuments of Ston are classified with the highest category of protection as well as surrounded by picturesque Mediterranean landscapes and nature what makes this small town a pure treasury. The Lapidarium (museum) contains extremely valuable archaeological collection and historical overview of the life in Ston from Roman times and early Christian churches from the 6th to the 17th century. Walknig on the second longest wall in the world is unforgettable experience. |
